I’m Ahmed, a product designer with over 13 years of experience designing digital products, with a focus on B2B software and SaaS.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a range of industries, including finance, manufacturing, automotive, and education. Much of my work has involved complex workflows, data-heavy products, and systems where thoughtful structure and consistency are essential.
My experience covers the full product design process, from research and defining problems to interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and working closely with engineering through implementation.
I approach design with a practical mindset: understand the problem, bring clarity to complexity, and create experiences that are useful, intuitive, and built to last.
Good design disappears. It should feel obvious in hindsight, never clever for its own sake.

At Puzzle, I design core product experiences that power modern accounting workflows, with a focus on automation, transparency, and flexibility. I lead design on the core accounting team in key areas including accounts payable/receivable, revenue recognition, classification, integration, accuracy review and more. I work on complex systems that support real-time integrations, audit trails, and financial reporting. I own the end-to-end design process from research and system design to prototyping and partnering with engineering to bring ideas to life.
Aug 2023 - PresentDesign Instructor|Schoolcraft College
As a design instructor in Schoolcraft College, I teach students core design concepts and help them apply those ideas through hands-on projects and critiques. I also prepare all the teaching materials, presentations, and assignments to make sure each class is clear and engaging. My role includes giving feedback, supporting students as they develop their work, and helping them build confidence in their design decisions.
